Mangoes, pickles and papads are a must when it comes to summer. But excessive intake of these foods will cause more harm than good, says nutritionist and dietician, Deepshikha Agarwal. Here’s the list of five common foods you should eat in moderation this season.

Ajwain Water

Ajwain water: Although drinking a glass of ajwain water early in the morning relieves gas and nausea and also improves digestion, drinking it more than once a day might cause an increase in stomach acid.

Papads

Pickles and papads: As pickles and papads are high in salt, excessive intake of these foods disturbs the fluid and salt balance. And if had in excess, it might lead to diarrhoea and dehydration.

Spicy-foods
