Elderberry Jam

Elderberry jam: Clean and wash the berries under water. Keep in a pot on the stove and mash them. Boil for about 20 minutes. Then strain the juice. In another pot, boil the juice with lemon juice and bit of sugar. The jam will become thicker after about 15 minutes. Elderberry Syrup

Elderberry syrup: You can use this with your waffles or pancakes instead of maple syrup or honey. Boil elderberries in water for about 20 minutes and switch off and let it cool. Store in a bottle.
