Eid Al Adha 2018: Here’s how you can make chicken keema healthier

Eid is known for rich delicacies. But, there are ways you can give a healthy twist to some of them. In this keema recipe, we have cleverly sneaked in a few vegetables you won't even notice!

Plant Based Keema Recipe


Onions Chopped

In a pan, add 2 tbsp chopped onion along with 2 bay leaves and 3-4 black peppercorns.



Add 2 chopped tomatoes and let it cook.


Peas In Keema

Add the marinated chicken to the mix and let it cook. Add 3 tbsp of green peas, ½ cup chopped cauliflower and ½ capsicum (diced). Let all the vegetables cook with the chicken. Adjust the salt. Also Read - Garlic: What happens when you drink garlic juice?


Chopped Coriander

Add 1 tsp garam masala. After 1 minute, add 2 tsp chopped coriander.
