Yoga Sequence For People Who Do Not Practice Yoga

If you have not been practising yoga, there are chances that you have tight hamstrings, quadriceps and shoulders. And yoga can seem extremely challenging if you suddenly decide to hop on the mat one fine day. This sequence recommended by yoga expert Sunaina Rekhi will loosen your joints, warm up your muscles and relax your body especially if you are not regular with yoga.

Makara Adho Mukha Svanasana

Makara adho mukha svanasana or dolphin pose: From downward facing dog get into the dolphin pose to open up and stretch the muscles of your chest and shoulders. The asana can be very helpful in recovering from a high-intensity workout.

Parivrtta Anjaneyasana

Parivrtta anjaneyasana or twisted lunge: This asana will open up tight shoulder and chest muscles and also help improve upper body balance while enhancing your flexibility.

Viparita Karini

Viparita karini or legs up the wall: End your yoga sequence with legs up the wall to relieve tired legs and feet and relieve any back pain. This can be an excellent pose to perform after a long day at work.
