Navratri is all about fasting and dandiya. Nowadays, it is also about following nine different colours on the nine days of Navratri. And keeping this in mind, we have come up with nine foods or snacks for the nine days based on the colours. Here you go!

Broccoli

Green: The second colour of the day, greens that are a must in your diet include leafy vegetables like spinach and green vegetables like bitter gourd, avocado and broccoli. You can have a green salad with broccoli and lettuce or green juice or smoothie in the evening to curb your hunger pangs.

Carrot

Orange: The colour for day 4, ensure you make the most of orange coloured foods like carrot, oranges, papaya and prunes on this day. You can eat oranges or drink carrot juice during snack or eat a bowl of papaya to keep you full in the evening.

Watermelon

Red: The colour for day 6, make the most of red -colored foods on this day by including it in your diet. Right from tomatoes and ragi to fruits like strawberries, cherries and pomegranate, reap the goodness of red colored foods.

Grapes

Blue: The color of day 7, bring the brightness of blue onto your plate with fruits like grapes, blueberries and mulberries.
