Most of us are ignorant about breakfast or don’t care about what we eat and how. However, here are some easy-peasy yummy foods you can’t skip for your daily breakfast.
Oats and peanut butter puffins – This recipe is filling enough and on-the go! All it needs is some baking powder, peanut butter, oats and egg. Blend it well and pour the mix into the muffin molds. Add some crushed banana chips to this if you want. Then, bake these in the oven at about 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
Apple cucumber smoothie – There is nothing better than a filling glass of healthy and fresh ingredients. For this, you need ½ cucumber, 1 apple, ½ cup pomegranate – 1/2 cup, 1 tbsp Lemon juice, 1 stalk of celery and 1 tsp of soaked chia seeds. Then just put them in a blender with some ice cubes. Once done, sprinkle some chia seeds.
Multigrain chicken, apple sandwich – Looking for a healthier version of a chicken sandwich? Try this – take some pieces of finely chopped apple, 1/4th cup of cooked chicken breast piece, mashed hard boiled egg and stir them up first. Then add yoghurt to this mixture, and sprinkle some salt and pepper. Simply spread the mix onto bread slices and have it as a sandwich. You can toast this if you want.
Fruit chaat is a refreshing and healthy snack during Navratri. Cut up your favourite fruits like apples, pears, and bananas, and mix them with some chaat masala and lemon juice. This will give you a healthy dose of vitamins and fibre while satisfying your sweet tooth.
