Chest Press

Chest press is one of the most common exercises known among gym-goers. Like the name suggests, it targets the chest (pectoralis major). There are various different variations of the exercise that you can try.

Chest Press

Regular chest press: Most people perform this version of a chest press. To do this, you need to lie down on a flat bench with dumbbells in both your hands. After this, you need to bring the dumbbells down to your chest level and slowly lift the dumbbells up in the air. Incline Chest Press

Incline dumbbell chest press: Perform it the way you do a normal chest press. The only difference is that the bench is inclined at a 45-degree angle.

Neutral Grip Chest Press

Neutral grip chest press: During a chest press, you hold the dumbbells horizontally. However, in a neutral grip chest press, you are supposed to hold the dumbbells vertically with both your palms facing each other. The rest of the exercise remains the same.

Single Arm Chest Press

Single arm chest press: You might not see many people do this variation. However, if one side of your upper body is weaker than the other, you can do a single-arm dumbbell chest press. It can also be done if you've injured one of your arms.
