Exercises To Lose Weight From Upper Body

Lifting weight is not the only way to go about for shedding weight from the upper body. You can do many other exercises to get that lean, chiseled body. These upper body exercises target your shoulders, upper back, upper arms, and core, giving you a perfect upper-body workout.

Burpees

Burpees are one of the most effective bodyweight exercises. Get into a push-up position then immediately get to your feet into a squat. Do this several times for a toned upper body.

Dolphin Pushup

The dolphin push-up mostly targets your shoulders and arms. Start in dolphin poses with your elbows and feet on the floor. Now lower your shoulders and kneel forward until the head is over the hands. Pull up the arms and return.

Triceps Dip

The triceps dip is one of the best ways to tone your triceps. Sit on the floor on a step or a bench with your knees slightly bent. Now grab the edge of the elevated surface and straighten your arms. Bend them into a 90-degree angle and push your heels towards the floor.

Bicycle Crunch

The bicycle crunch is a great exercise to tone your shoulders and belly. Lie down and keep your hands behind the head. Now bring your left knee towards the chest and get your right elbow towards the left knee. Continue to alternate the sides.

Crunches

Nothing can replace crunches when it comes to losing weight from upper body.Lie on your back and place the hands behind the head. Now slowly lift your head and shoulders off the mat to engage the core. Continue rising until the upper back is off the floor. Hold and then lower your back to the starting position.
