Potential Causes Of Eye Problems During Fasting

As mentioned earlier, dehydration can cause problems, owing to inadequate fluid intake during fasting. At the same time, electrolyte imbalance (loss of essential minerals like potassium and magnesium) may also be a cause. Taking Care Of The Eyes During Fasting

Doctors suggest staying hydrated and consuming electrolyte supplements, omega-3 rich foods, vitamin A-rich foods (sweet potatoes, carrots, and dark leafy greens), antioxidant-rich foods (berries, green tea, and dark chocolate) during the fasting period. One can do eye exercises for focus and relaxation, and consider adjusting fasting schedule to make it shorter and gradual.
