Hina Khan has been pretty transparent throughout her journey of breast cancer treatment, right from her diagnosis earlier this year. Sharing with fans and followers on social media little details about her progress, the actor has cast away her vanity and apprehensions, seeking love and blessings from everyone. Loss Of Eyelashes

A side effect of breast cancer treatment that involves chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the actor posted this photograph, mentioning that she once had beautifully-long eyelashes, and this is what remains of it: one little eyelash, whom she called a "brave, lone warrior" for holding on. "My last standing eyelash has fought it all beside me. Walking The Ramp

The actor also walked the ramp for ace designer Manish Malhotra, displaying his collection on the runway at the Namo Bharat Fashion Show, which paid tribute to cancer and terror attack survivors. Khan, despite being in the middle of her cancer treatment, walked with grace. She had a constant smile on her face.

Dealing With Mucositis

Prior to that, Khan had also talked about suffering from mucositis, which is a side-effect of chemotherapy. She shared a few smiling selfies, despite being in immense pain, writing that she had been unable to eat anything. "I can't even eat properly without feeling pain. But that's no reason to be negative. I choose to smile and encourage myself. I tell myself that all this will be over and we will get through this. Shaving Her Head

Early on during her cancer treatment journey, Khan made the decision to shave her entire head and lose all her hair. Calling it an 'empowering decision', she said she was proud of herself. "The moment I was diagnosed, I knew I'd lose my hair, I chose to cut it off on my own terms while it was still healthy, long and vibrant. I decided to make a wig of my own hair that would bring me comfort during this challenging time," the 36-year-old said.
