Tadasana: Tadasana or the palm tree pose calms and relaxes your mind and body while stretching your entire body. The breathing pattern followed is beneficial to reduce the symptoms of sleep apnea.
Bhujangasana: Bhujangasana tones and strengthens the intercoastal muscles and strengthens the overall immune system of the person which helps a person to fight various sleep apnea related disorders. It also helps you breathe better and beats stress and fatigue.
Setubandhasana: Setubandhasana or the bridge pose helps in improving digestion and relaxes the mind. Proper digestive system will prevent constipation which is a common side effect of sleep apnea.
Ushtrasana: Ustrasana or the camel pose helps relax the body completely by stretching the front body, ankle, foot, thighs, groin and helps you relax. It is helpful against respiratory ailments and is beneficial for a good night’s sleep too.
Vakrasana-THS
Shalabhasana: Shalabhasana or the locust pose balances the endocrine system to release all the hormones in the right amount to keep your body healthy. It also massages your abdominal organs to keep bowel movements smooth and prevent constipation.
Shavasana: Shavasana or the corpse pose involves observing your breathing to calm down the body. Lack of sleep leads to indigestion which increases the toxic levels in the body. Correct breathing techniques improve metabolism and also helps to get rid of toxins. Shavasana is also beneficial for a good night’s sleep and lowering blood pressure.
