Slow Metabolic Rate

Slow metabolic rate: If you have PCOS, your body’s metabolic rate slows down which eventually tends to make you gain weight. A diet that is rich in foods with a low glycemic index can be one of the best ways to prevent weight gain. This will keep you full and satiated without causing spikes in your blood sugar.

More Fat Storage

More fat storage: As you wake up your body should ideally start burning fat for energy till you eat your meal. But if you have PCOS, your body does not burn fat first thing in the morning. Instead, your body is programmed to save the energy which means you have to work twice as hard to burn fat.
