According to new research from the University of Missouri-Columbia, genetic factors accounted for 45 percent of the difference in hangover frequency in women and 40 percent of men. Can't quit alcohol: If you have been trying to refrain from alcohol but have failed miserably each time, it could be due to a set of genes that you may have. Forgetfulness: Do you enter a room and then forget why you came there? You probably have a variant of this gene called DRD2.
