Most people are aware that standing or sitting for long hours can lead to varicose veins but are not aware that obesity is also a key risk factor. If you are obese, excess weight not only puts pressure on the abdomen but also increases the pressure on the legs.


Blood Clot

In some cases, varicose veins don't need any treatment but should be managed. However, in some cases, if not treated it can lead to a blood clot. If the clot slips or enters the deeper veins or the heart and lungs, it can also cause a death of the person. Hence, it is wise to consult your doctor and know about your condition.
