Throat: Acetone found in the nail polish or nai polish remover will do no good to your throat. Exposure to acetone might cause severe irritation to your throat and nasal passage which might affect your breathing too.

Asthma: Patients suffering from asthma should stay away from acetone in any case. Acetone is one of the major triggering agents of asthmatic attacks.

Nausea and vomiting: Yes in severe cases when you're exposed to too much acetone in a very short period of time you might even suffer from nausea or vomiting.

Eyes: Since your eyes are a very sensitive part of your body and acetone is very strong you need to be extra careful. You may suffer from eye irritations because of its fumes that will then lead to tears and further irritation.
