Tips For Anger Management

Most of the time anger does devastating things for us, especially if we don’t know how to rein control over this emotion. Count Numbers

Count from one to ten: There is a window period when your sanity is still intact even when you are angry, a fraction of second just before you are about to vent out, act at this point and start counting numbers from 1, 2, 3... 10. Take a deep breath with every number. This will help you divert the focus from the issue or trigger and help your mind think rationally and act wisely. If you still feel worked up after counting to 10, start all over again and don’t forget to take deep breaths simultaneously.  Also Read - Irregular periods could signal PMOS: NHS warns women not to ignore early symptoms

Drink A Glass Of Water

Drink a glass of water: I am not sure if this tip has any scientific basis, but most of the time resorting to a bottle of water and taking slow sips to divert anger works like magic. Try this especially when you don’t have options at hand. Drink enough to replenish your body. Water definitely has a soothing effect on your body and clears the parched throat and lips that are evident signs of an impending outburst.
