If you're like me, it is very likely that you feel lazy at night and skip brushing or often replace brushing with chewing gums, mints or mouthwashes. Lowers the risk of gum disease -- Not many people are aware of the fact that bushing twice a day can improve oral hygiene and also lower your risk of periodontal disease. This is because, missing night brushing can lead to accumulation of tartar in the teeth, which can lead to inflammation and bleeding in the gums [2].
