Variation Of The Date

Variation of the date--It is a common belief that you must get your period on the same date every month. Most of us start fretting when that does not happen and the period gets delayed by a day or two. However, that's perfectly okay. An average menstrual cycle is of anywhere between 21 to 35 days and most of the times the number of days vary. However, you should be worried if the cycle lasts less than 21 days or more 35 days.

Vaginal Discharge

Vaginal discharge--A white vaginal discharge just before your periods is also normal. There are wet days and dry days before a period, and that does not necessarily mean that you have an infection. Dr Sunila points out that sexually active women and women who have gone through childbirth have more discharge as compared to those who are not sexually active or active and child free. Also Read - India using too many powerful antibiotics meant for specific infections, warns global Lancet study; AMR risk rises
