Do you suffer from irregular periods? If yes, then instead of popping pills to get your menses on track, here are a few home remedies that you must try. The fourth home remedy is most commonly used for irregular periods.
Carrom seeds: If you suffer from irregular periods, you can drink ajwain water (soak few carom seeds in water overnight, grind and drink in the morning). It also acts as a muscle relaxant and lower menstrual cramps .
Fennel seeds: Fennel seeds not only promote menstruation but also regulate monthly periods. For this, make sure you drink fennel water (infusion of fennel seeds) regularly to have you periods on time .
Saffron: This spice only promotes and regulates menstrual periods but also soothes lower abdominal pain during menstruation. You can either apply saffron oil externally before your periods to ensure to include saffron in the diet .
Raw papaya: Raw papaya aids in the contraction of the uterine muscles and thus helps in regulating the menstrual flow. You can take raw papaya in the form of vegetable and ensure you eat it regularly to get your periods on the track .
Sesame seeds: These seeds are known to produce heat in the body and hence can lead to regular periods. It also relieves menstrual pain. You can add sesame seeds to salads, curries, rotis or have as laddoos or chikkis .
