Gauze pads: The next most important first aid kit essential is gauze pad, which is used in case of major injuries and cuts. Buying them in larger sizes as you can always cut them to the required size.
Scissors and tweezers: Often overlooked, scissors are extremely useful in cutting gauze pads, adhesive tape and other materials in case of emergency. While tweezers help in dealing with ingrown nails, stings and glass pieces in case of accidents.
Antiseptic and disinfectant: Use of a disinfectant and antiseptic like alcohol or hydrogen peroxide helps in cleansing the wounds or sting bites, thereby preventing infection. So stock your first aid kit with these essentials now!
