Green Vegetables

Eat green vegetables: Include more green vegetables like spinach, cucumber and celery in your diet, especially during periods (or even few days period your periods) to deal with menstrual pain. These vegetables are loaded with antioxidants and fibre, which improve blood flow and prevent bloating which further worsen pain during menstruation.

Calcium Rich Foods

Get more calcium: As calcium is a well-known muscle relaxant, eating foods rich in this mineral during menstruation eases menstrual cramps and pain. In addition to milk and milk products, include foods like kale and broccoli in your diet to reap its health benefits. Drink-water

So load up your intake of fluids, especially during that time of the month as it relieves pelvic congestion and also improves blood flow to the uterus and vagina, thereby easing menstrual pain.

Bhadrasana

Do yoga stretches: Contrary to popular belief, exercising during menstruation not only promotes blood circulation but also improves your mood. You can try simple yoga poses like bhadrasana or auspicious pose, fish pose or matsyasana, camel pose or ustrasana and noose pose or pasasana.
