A new research published in the journal Nature Microbiology, has revealed that a newly developed technology can help deal with mutation of influenza virus chosen for vaccines in the process of production. This is indeed a remarkable development and is quite important in both public health and in vaccine production. Influenza is an infection caused by influenza virus. Commonly known as flu, it affects your respiratory system. Mostly, this infection goes by its own however, sometimes it leads to serious problems. Young children, older people, pregnant woman, people with weakened immune system, and obese individuals are at greater risk of developing influenza. It is characterized by symptoms like high fever, aching muscles, fatigue, sore throat, headache etc. You get influenza when someone already infected with the condition sneezes or coughs in front of you and you pick the germs from the air.
