White: The colour white can be a cause for concern if you spot it on your skin. White patches on your skin could indicate tinea versicolor, vitiligo or eczema. Consult a dermatologist immediately if you find white discoloured spots on your skin. White spots on your nails could indicate a host of things from zinc deficiency to arsenic poisoning.
Yellow: The sunshine colour is a treat to behold on a butterfly's wings or on the petals of a sunflower, but not on your sclera! If the whites of your eyes turn yellow, rush to the doctor's office. Yellow sclera could be a sign of jaundice, resulting from excessive bilirubin in the blood. Same goes for yellow skin and nails.
Blue: Blue lips could commonly indicate you are cold or that the oxygen levels in your blood are low. If the limbs and digits turn blue, it shows blockage of blood supply. Turning blue is also a symptom of Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart defect.
Purple: If there are purple patches on your skin, better go for a blood test and check your platelet count. Purple bruises or purpura result from blood vessels burst and blood pools under your skin. If you routinely see purple bruises on children or adults, check whether they are being subjected to domestic violence.

Black: When a body part turns black, it is usually a cause of great concern because it is a sign of gangrene or tissue death. When blood supply to a body part stops, it turns black and becomes gangrenous. Black or tarry stools can be a sign of bleeding in the upper part of the digestive system.
Brown: Urine of a healthy person is pale yellow in colour. But if it is dark brown, it could point towards a host of health conditions like bleeding in the urinary tract, hemolytic anemia, hepatitis and melanoma. However, it could also mean you are severely dehydrated.
Orange: President Trump is often ridiculed for his orange-tinged skin. In his case, the distinct orange colour could be a result spending too much time under the tanning bed. Apart from cheap tanning beds and tanning sprays, carotenosis can also cause orange skin due to the increase of carotene in the blood.
Red: The colour itself represents danger. Seeing this colour anywhere could cause panic because it indicates you are bleeding somewhere. Red or pink urine could indicate the presence of blood. Red patches or erythema results from increased blood flow to the area. Red sclera or bloodshot eyes could indicate conjunctivitis, allergies, scleritis or uveitis.
