The flu virus can last for a good amount of time than expected om surfaces around you. Therefore, disinfecting yourself is not enough, important is to sanitize the things of daily use. These thins if not sanitized can prove to be the potential reason of resulting in a flu for other people living in the house with you. Giving a good thorough clean to your house can save you little children from suffering from the flu. Here is a list of few things you should sanitize to get rid of the flu virus.

Bed Sheets And Pillow Cases

Sheets and pillow cases: Unless you have a strict policy off keeping beds as off limits when down with the flu, without a doubt they are contaminated. While they don’t last for longer periods on soft surfaces they still have the ability to linger. Change your sheet and pillow cases when you are no longer sick and wash them in hottest setting possible. Smartphone

Smartphone: Your smart is drowning in bacteria on a normal day which can possibly make you ill. If you are sick and are regularly in contact with your smartphone, chances are you are leaving behind microscopic cells that can make other people sick. Don’t let other people use your phone and wipe it clean using a disinfectant.

Toothbrush

Toothbrush: That’s right your toothbrush too is contaminated. It is harboring the flu virus for the next 24 hours. Although you have already gained the immunity to fight away the virus, you can still simply let it be a breeding ground to infect another member of your house. You can use an antiseptic mouthwash to disinfect your toothbrush. Let it sit for several minutes in the mouthwash. TV remote control: The influenza virus has the ability to live on hard surface for about 24 hours. Every individual who touches the infected remote has the risk of falling sick due to the influenza virus covered remote control. For that you yourself can fall sick again. Use a disinfectant to sanitize the remote to kill virus.
