Coffee- This favourite beverage of many is a best friend of acidity. This is because it contains caffeine that is known to aggravate acid reflux.
Tea- Similarly tea has caffeine too. You may opt for decaffeinated version of tea and coffee though.
Carbonated drinks: The bubbles found in carbonated beverages tend to upset the stomach. It then pushes the acid back to the food pipe.
Alcohol stimulates the stomach to produce more and more acid which in turn causes an acid reflux.
Citrus drinks: Be it lemon or orange, all citrus fruits have a high acid content. Therefore, if you are prone to acidity, avoid citrus fruit juices.
