How Do Personality Traits Matter?

Can your personality type help you avert a deadly disease such as dementia? A new study published in the Journal Alzheimer’s & Dementia states that it can. People with certain personality traits like conscientiousness, extraversion, openness to experience, neuroticism, and agreeableness known as the Big Five trait are less likely to get the disease.

The more social and extroverted you are, the less likely it will be for you to develop dementia, says study. People who are extroverts are less isolated. They socialise more and stay in touch with people. This habit is good for your brain and will help you avert any kind of memory loss.

People who are polite, agreeable, kind and friendly have less chances of developing dementia says exerts.
