Fever And Chills

One of the very first signs of coronavirus in kids is a rise in body temperature. The average normal body temperature of a child is about 37°C (98.6°F). Runny Nose

With the constant mutations of the coronavirus, experts have stated that there are some new symptoms of this deadly infection that one should look out for. One of them is a runny nose. If your child is suffering from a runny nose accompanied by other symptoms of a cold such as a sore throat, congestion, etc for more than a day, make sure to visit a doctor immediately.

Trouble In Breathing

One of the common symptoms of the deadly coronavirus infection which was noticed amongst the patients in the second wave was difficulty in breathing or a steep decline in the body’s oxygen level. Similarly, a child may also face trouble while breathing once he/she is infected by the coronavirus. Loss Of Smell And Taste

Among several kids who tested positive for COVID-19 had complained about the loss of smell and taste in their initial stages of the infection. According to the experts, the loss of smell and taste was seven times higher in kids with COVID-19. If you notice your child suffering from loss of smell and taste accompanied by flu like symptoms such as headache and fever, then you must take your child to the doctor immediately.

Diarrhoea

Another important symptom that every parent should know about is diarrhoea. If your child shows symptoms like loose motion, abdominal pain, abdominal cramp, watery stool, etc then you must take this seriously and consider visiting a doctor immediately.
