Gastroenteritis May Become Complicated If Not Treated On Time

Gastroenteritis can start off with mild symptoms or with severe symptoms. If the symptoms are mild at first, it means that it is treatable. But, do not ignore the treatments available because if symptoms go on for too long, it can cause severe dehydration which is the main source of other health problems like organ failure, kidney stones, vertigo, low blood pressure, etc.

vertigo

Constant diarhhoea and vomiting means that your body is losing all the essential electrolytes. This can lower your blood pressure drastically and lead to vertigo and a patient may also faint. This is also one serious symptom that should be noted.

Ovarian Cyst

Experts say, ovarian cysts may also cause bloating in the stomach. Sometimes, they do not have any symptoms but if there is continuous pain or bloating, you should immediately consult a doctor.

Some foods may cause extra bloating even after periods. Foods like cruciferous vegetables, chickpeas, kidney beans can also disrupt our glycemic index causing a bloated tummy.

IBS

Women suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome may experience an exacerbation in symptoms during periods. Since our body takes some time to adjust to normal hormonal levels after periods, this symptom may go on till after the cycle is over.

Water Retention

Another possible cause of bloating may be water retention. This also happens during periods and it may continue until after its over.
