Moisturise You Hair

To keep your hair moisturised--In monsoon your scalp tends to get dry and you can keep it moisturised with coconut oil. Apply the oil all over your scalp and hair and use a comb to spread it evenly. This helps in keeping the scalp moisturised. You can also mix 1/2 teaspoon of castor oil with coconut oil, heat it and then apply on the scalp for better hair texture and growth. Leave it overnight and wash your hair with a mild shampoo the next day. Also Read - Vitamin D deficiency symptoms: 6 warning signs your skin may show when vitamin D levels drop too low

To Avoid Dandruff

To avoid dandruff--Take two tablespoons of coconut oil, add the juice of two lemons and juice of one orange and cover head with a towel after applying it. After 15 to 20 minutes, wash your hair with a mild shampoo. Also, do not tie your hair too tight or use hair dryers or straightening irons as the heat may make your hair brittle.

To Avoid Hair Fall

To avoid hair fall--Don’t use too much of conditioner and heavy chemicals. You needn’t use a conditioner every time you shampoo your hair during monsoon. Monsoon makes you hair dry and you tend to have a lot of hair fall. Also, avoid colouring your hair as it make it more dry. Avoid combing wet hair and use a wooden comb instead of a plastic one. Also Read - Why are heart attacks more common in men? Study reveals why more exercise may protect the heart
