Cocoa butter: Commonly used in various specialised products, cocoa butter works best when used during pregnancy or after delivery (although there are no studies proving its efficacy). It keeps the skin moist, and as the growth happens, skin breakage is reduced, which helps in lightening and preventing stretch marks.
Aloe vera gel: The second most commonly used natural remedy for stretch marks is aloe vera gel. It aids in the regeneration of the skin and also rejuvenates the skin reducing the appearance of stretch marks on the skin.
Coconut oil: Coconut oil is also a widely used natural remedy for lightening the stretch marks and keeping the skin moist.
Bitter almond oil: According to a study review [1], it showed that massaging with bitter almond oil may not only prevent stretch marks but also reduce the severity of it. The study was done in pregnant women, as it affects up to 90% of pregnant women.
