Natural Ingredients To Heal Acne

Nobody likes acne and its aftermath, the scars. But sometimes there is very little that we can do. Whatever the reason it does lessen our aesthetic quotient and erodes our confidence too. There are various ways to treat acne – diet changes, restoring hormonal imbalances by corrective lifestyle methods or taking prescription medications. However, if you want a holistic solution you can go to your kitchen and find ingredients that can go a long way in banishing acne and its scars. They are safe, devoid of side-effects and easy to use. Here are a few of them:

Turmeric

Turmeric: Since it has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties it prevents bacterial breakouts and pimples. It is also anti-allergic and cleanses toxins from the pores. Basil Leaves

Basil leaves: Of course you don’t get it in your kitchen but probably in your kitchen garden. Crush few leaves of tulsi and apply it over your acne. Once the face absorbs the juice rinse your face after 15 minutes.

Lemon

Lemon: The acid present in this citrus fruit has acne fighting qualities and is also one of the most easy and cheap way to clear your skin. It also acts as natural bleach. Squeeze some lemon juice and apply it all over your face and wash it after few minutes or when the juice dries up.

Hence, as Dr Atchara V recommended, ensure you don’t consume unripe and semi-ripe Papayas. Even while having Ripe Papayas, ensure you consume them moderately.
