Sipping a cup of hot tea can instantly bring a sense of calm but did you know you could brew a cup of tea to make homemade beauty packs? Here’s how you can use herbal teas to boost the health of your skin.


Green Tea

Green tea: Green tea has antioxidants that can slow down the ageing process and promote collagen production. To make an exfoliating green tea scrub, split open a tea bag and add 1 cup of water and two tablespoons granulated sugar to it. Mix these well and apply it all over your face. Kombucha Tea

Kombucha tea: The lightly fermented kombucha tea contains symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast that not only detoxifies your skin but also improves its elasticity and hydrates it. Prepare a cup of kombucha tea and let it cool. Add some rice flour to this and mix well. To this paste, add two drops of lemon and mix. Apply the pack on your face and wash after 20 minutes.


Oolong Tea

Oolong tea: The antioxidants polyphenols present in oolong tea can remove the toxins and soothe your skin. It can also protect your skin from pigmentation from harmful UV rays. Steep 1/2 cup of oolong tea and add two tablespoons milk cream and one teaspoon sugar to it. Chamomile tea: You can use chamomile tea as a natural way to soften your skin. Simply steep two chamomile tea bags in water and add 2-3 teaspoons lemon juice to it. Apply it on your face and leave it for 5-10 minutes. Then wash your face with lukewarm water. You can also use the same infusion on your hair to lighten it.


Black Tea

Black tea: The antioxidants present in black tea can aid in regenerating skin cell and delay the skin’s ageing process. All you need to do is brew a cup of black tea and let it cool down.
