Natural Ingredients

Myth: Natural remedies are better for skin. Reality: Most of us don't shy away from using natural ingredients from the kitchen to lighten the skin or use as face packs. But, there's no scientific proof that natural or organic ingredients are better for skin. Many antioxidants are naturally derived, but by the time they are extracted, purified and processed, they are far from their natural beginnings.

Moisturiser

Myth: Skin cream and moisturiser with vitamins A, E and other plant extracts prevent ageing and skin wrinkling. Fact: Most of these substances are not absorbed topically and hence carry no added advantage over a plain moisturiser. Castor Oil For Eyebrows

Myth: Applying castor oil on eyebrow hair and eye lashes boosts their growth. Fact: No oil can affect the hair growth. However, if you observe any hair growth it could be because of the massage of the skin underneath the eyebrows when you apply an oil.

Shampoo

Myth: Shampoos with ingredients like pro-vitamin B5 and keratin can repair damaged hair. Fact: Conditioners that contain hydrolysed animal protein can improve the quality of hair to certain extent but various other additives only enhance the commercial value.
