Amla

Amla, or the Indian gooseberry, is a powerhouse of nutrients that can give you a major health boost. It contains eight times more vitamin C than an orange and is one of the best dietary sources of antioxidants. In Sanskrit, it is called ‘Amlaki’, which literally translates to ‘nectar of life’. This amazing food boosts immunity and protects you from many common and chronic diseases including the common cold, cancer and infertility. This fruit is also widely used in many Ayurvedic formulations. This is a sour fruit and you can use it in many ways to include it in your daily diet.
