Eating Healthy Diet Options Can Reduce The Risk Of Cancers

A diet rich in beans, legumes, nuts, and olive oil is more wholesome and reduces risk, especially breast cancer. In addition, limit refined sugars, processed meat or charred and smoked foods, and alcohol and choose fish over red meat, according to the International Research Agency for Cancer WHO.

Avoid Sun Exposure

Avoid the mid-day sun, lather the skin with a broad spectrum UVA, UVB sunscreen of higher SPF than 30-35, stay in the shade where possible, and use umbrellas.

Cancer Screening After Age 21 Is Recommended

According to the American Cancer Society, these tests can detect cancers faster and help be treated early.

Tobacco Chewing

Which is, to a certain extent, prevalent in Indian urban women, and smoking increases the risk of oral, head, neck and lung cancers. So avoiding these can be very effective in curbing these cancers in both men and women.

Never ignore any symptoms, such as unexplained weight loss, pain, loss of hunger, fever, tiredness, indigestion, diarrhoea or constipation. Get a thorough assessment from a specialist.
