Dhanurasana, also known as the Bow Pose in yoga, is a back-bending pose that resembles the shape of a bow when performed correctly. The health benefits may include enhancing blood circulation, adjusting hunched back and body posture, managing diabetes, digestive ailments and chest ailments, etc.
Sit on the floor with your legs extended straight in front of you. Inhale to lengthen your spine, then exhale to hinge at your hips and reach forward toward your toes. Hold the pose for a few breaths, feeling a gentle stretch in your lower back and neck.
