Excess alcohol consumption can cause gas and bloating which in turn can cause stomach and back pain. Alcohol destroys the lining of the stomach and can also cause ulcers. This is what causes the pain.
Did you know that excessive stress can cause gas and eventually stomach and back pain. Stress can impact the blood flow to the stomach causing ulcers, damaged lining and stomach pain.
When our food gets broken down in the stomach, our body releases gas during digestion. The amount of gas in the colon may be too much thereby causing pain in the back and stomach.
One of the leading causes of gas and then back pain is because we are probably swallowing excess air. The air in our body and stomach increases when we inhale excess air from our mouth. This can happen during eating food, from drinking carbonated beverages, and from generally breathing through the mouth.
Eating excessive medications can also cause stomach pain, back pain and bloating. This typically happens when you take many painkillers.
