Fatty Fish
Salmon, mackerel, sardines, and tuna are fatty fishes that are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids. These omega-3-rich fats decrease inflammation and make an individual insulin sensitive – vital in the reduction of the visceral fat. The omega-3s too are known to control the fat-storage hormones and enhance metabolism. There is research indicating that frequent intake of fatty fish is linked to a decrease in waist circumference and abdominal fat. Best results are 2 servings per week.
