Sugar and oil scrub

One of the simplest DIY exfoliators is a sugar scrub. Combine 2 tablespoons of coconut oil or olive oil with sugar. Massage the mixture into your scalp with your fingertips in a couple of minutes before washing it out. Sugar will exfoliate the old skin, the oil will nourish and hydrate the scalp leaving it soft and clean.

Baking soda cleanse

Baking soda is a mild exfoliating and clarifying agent. To make a paste, mix water and baking soda (1: 1). Apply to your scalp and rub. This aids in exfoliation of hair products and oils. However, do not apply it excessively, because it may be a little drying when applied excessively.

Coffee grounds scrub
