My baby is 5 months old. Can I bathe her with borewell water? I don t have any other option as the place I stay at is supplied with borewell water only.

Borewell water is relatively hard and can be harsh on the skin. Borewell water is not safe for bathing and drinking. Borewell water is ground water and many areas of groundwater are now contaminated with heavy metals, POPs (persistent organic pollutants), and nutrients that have an adverse affect on health. Bathing with ground water can cause various skin and hair problems like itching, rough and dry skin, eczema, hair fall and even infections in most adults.
