Many studies and even doctors recommend intake of fenugreek after delivery, as it contains galactogogues, compounds which aid in the production of breast milk. But according to Dr Sanghvi, methi laddoo is not needed to increase the supply of breast milk!

As soon as you give birth, the hormones responsible for breast milk production are stimulated, which is a part of the normal regulatory process. The amount of milk that a woman produces is sufficient for the infant, which tends to take a downward dip as soon as the child stops feeding. Also, too much of breastmilk production might lead to breast engorgement. Hence, there is no need to increase the output of breastmilk by including methi laddoo as you can t trigger a woman to produce more milk than what she can actually does by including methi in her diet.
