Some of the products which come labelled as herbal or natural might be loaded with chemicals. So it is crucial to know what chemicals are going into your child s products. According to Dr Gowda here are few of the chemicals that make baby products toxic, 1, 4-Dioxane, formaldehyde, formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, fragrance, phthalates, parabens, octinoxate, benzophenones, ethanolamines and nitrosamines.
So, next time you are tempted to buy a fragrant baby product and use it, do read the labels and make sure you don t pick up stuff which is loaded with the above-mentioned chemicals. Instead look for ingredients like olive oil, aloe vera, etc.
