babyBabies grow fast and so do their nails. It is important to cut their nails regularly. Even slightly grown nails can cause harm to your baby.

She can scratch herself, hurt her eyes or other parts of her delicate face. The dirt and dust that can get inside the nails can also give rise to a stomach infection if your baby is in the habit of sucking fingers or putting everything in her mouth.

Ideally, cut your baby's nails when she is sleeping after a relaxing massage and bath. Push the cuticle inside gently and cut the nails with a baby nail clipper. Do this after every fortnight or when you feel that your baby's nails need to be trimmed.
