New Delhi, Dec 14: The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, paid a tribute to B.K.S. Iyengar, universally acclaimed yoga guru, on his birth anniversary on 14th December, Sunday. Mr Modi in a tweet said, 'My tribute to B.K.S. Iyengar on his birth anniversary. Iyengar, the founder of 'Iyengar Yoga', was born on December Dec 14, 1918 in Bellur, Karnataka. He passed away this year on August 20 in Pune as he was suffering from kidney ailment. (Read: BKS Iyengar passes away: Yoga legend s top 30 unforgettable quotes!)
