Yo Yo Honey Singh too stressed to work, advised 45 days of bed rest

We have all heard of Yo Yo Honey Singh, currently the highest paid composer in Bollywood. From his recent hit Desi Kalakar to Lungi dance for Chennai Express, the composer, singer and song-writer has won many-a-hearts since his foray into Bollywood. But it seems all the fame has made Yo Yo Honey Singh ill. Reportedly advised to take 45 off work coupled with complete bed rest, the composer has been asked by his doctors to 'cut off from the world' for at least a month and a half.

In a statement his wife Shalini Talwar to Times Of India said, 'He needs to be on complete bed, rest cut off from the world for at least 45 days. He doesn't like being at home or out of work. But his blood pressure has been fluctuating, his heart beat is not good and doctors have asked him to be completely at peace, on vacation doing nothing. He has, of course, been allowed to compose music on his laptop.'

Off late the industry has been abuzz with news that Yo Yo Honey Singh was under considerable stress as he had cancelled 'SLAM', the tour he was supposed to do with Shah Rukh Khan and the Happy New Year team. He also turned down offers to sing and compose a song for the film. Apparently the star has been under duress since July and his heart condition was racked up to fatigue due to the his extremely busy and stressful schedule. Apart from his heart condition, Yo Yo Honey Singh also injured himself during his Chicago concert with the Happy New Year Team. It is said that he hurt his head, which was so severe that he had to opt out of the show he was hosting -- 'India's Raw Star'.

We wish him speedy recovery.

But can stress actually do that to a person?

Most doctors outline the many ill effects of stress including causing hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol levels, faster ageing of the body, inability to sleep, palpitations and a whole host of other ailments. Stress can also lower ones immune system and make them susceptible to various ailments. It has also been known to cause fatigue and changes in one's mood as well. All this coupled with a whirl-wind lifestyle the star leads -- with no time to rest, travelling from place to place, working during odd hours, etc.-- could have very well lead to hypertension and fatigue.

Despite the gravity of the problem the solution to stress is quite simple. All one has to do is rest and recuperate. When it comes to stress fuelled ailments it is also essential that one try to stay as fit as possible by eating healthy, exercising.
