Hall Hogan Death News: Legendary American wrestler Hulk Hogan, popularly known as Terry Gene Bollea, breathed his last on Thursday, July 24. He was 71.

According to the reports, Hogan died due to cardiac arrest at his Florida home. Medics rushed to his residence and the wrestling great was seen stretchered off in an ambulance from his residence in Clearwater, according to media reports.

Taking to social media, WWE confirmed Hulk Hogan's demise and extended its condolences to the wrestler's family and friends

Cardiac Arrest In Men After 70: Causes And Symptoms

Cardiac arrest is an emergency medical condition wherein, the the heart suddenly stops pumping blood effectively to the body and brain, usually due to an electrical malfunction in the heart.

The condition is fatal and can give just few seconds to the patient to survive it. Although, medical journals call it a 'silent condition', studies have shown that cardiac arrest do come with certain symptoms, such as -

Apart from the above-mentioned signs and symptoms, cardiac arrest can also lead to other health issues (in generic terms which is called warning indicators).

To advert these emergency situations that can arise due to poor cardiac health or heart condition, cardiologist suggest certain lifestyle changes after 40 (especially for men). Check out the list of lifestyle habit that are needed to curb cardiac issues:

  1. Exercise regularly
  2. Follow healthy eating habits
  3. Cut down on salt and sugar intake
  4. Avoid smoking
  5. Control alcohol intake
  6. Give your body proper rest
  7. Keep stress at bay

"Cardiac arrest is immediate, unpredictable, and often fatal if not treated within minutes, therefore, it is important to keep a tab of your cardiac health, and ensure you are taking proper precautions to keep it healthy and safe," said Dr Pratibha Mathur, Apollo Hospitals, Gurugram.

Over the course of his career, Hogan captured at least six WWE championships and was honoured with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
