World Health Day is celebrated every year on April 7 and this year s theme was food safety. A lot of people suffer from diseases and conditions because they eat food that is toxic and unhealthy.
According to World Health Organisation (WHO), as many as 200 diseases can be prevented if people eat hygienic food free of harmful bacteria, viruses and germs.
What food you purchase, how you cook it and how you store it is of utmost importance. Here are some simple food safety rules that you need to follow so that your family doesn t fall prey to diseases caused due to unhealthy food.
