1st December is World AIDS Day
One never imagines their favourite childhood characters naked. Well, maybe some people do, but that's a different thing altogether.
Artist and activist aleXsandro Palombo wanted to contribute in his own novel way to spread awareness about AIDS among teenagers and he thought the best way to do it through his art was to paint our favourite Disney princes naked. This series is called 'Hello Boys'.
He says The teenagers have not experienced the years of the emergency. For a lot of them the AIDS remains something abstract and so they underestimate the risks of contagions. There is a lack of education in the families also on this matter. Life is precious and we have to protect it every day. That s what we have to teach to the youngster. And also remind them to always use condoms!
