Finding the motivation to go to the gym has become a thing of the past as most women are now opting to work out at home, says a recent survey. Recent research revealed that over one-third of the women respondents shunned the gym, and chose to work out in the comfort of their own home, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Also, modern women are opting to save time in travelling to the gym and one of the main reason behind this is the increase in technology, which has boosted the options of working out at home using games consoles, mobile applications and fitness DVDs. Such options are proving to be cost-effective ways of achieving desirable results.

The past few years has also witnessed a rise in the number of celebrity fitness DVDs.
