International Mother's Day: What's that one thing about your mother that you HATE?

Every year, on the second Sunday of May, you will be flooded with all the sappy quotes and messages of love and admiration for mothers. After all, it is International Mother's Day! And nothing wrong in being overly emotional and celebrating your mother, the most important person in your life, but all the Thank Yous and Love Yous can get a little too much. Besides, why celebrate your mom just on this one day? Love your mom every day, pamper her whenever she needs a break, and appreciate even the smallest things that she does for you. Appreciate everything she does for you. But what about telling your mom things about her that you don't like? Like when she stays up all night when you have to study for your exams, or when she lets you eat the chicken Biryani and eats leftovers herself. Don't you just hate it when she forgets to take her medication but remembers to pack a bazillion food boxes for you? There are a lot of things that mothers do that annoy us, and even after telling them repeatedly, seldom do they mend their ways.

Watch this video for some honest confessions from people of different ages and different perceptions. Watch them share things about their mother that they HATE. It's time we went beyond the 'I love my mom so much' mode and told them, honestly, about things we want them to stop doing. Take inspiration and go tell your mom about the things you want her to stop doing. Do it with a hug, and some flowers! Happy Mother's Day to the most wonderful and beautiful people who make the world a truly beautiful place.
